Teets stands 6-foot-0 175 pounds and had an athletic strong slim look. His fastball sits 77-78 mph but doesn’t use his lower half at all opening up his hips too soon. When he addresses this I know there will be more velocity. Curveball has some action to it at 63 mph with downward spin.
OF/Hitting - Teets has a nice quick release from the outfield showing some accuracy. Arm velocity 81 mph and was in good fielding position. He opens up hips on throws and keeping closed will add more strength behind throws. He swings around the baseball at times with an exit velocity of 76 mph. He makes consistent contact and has a short stride.
July 15 - Teets showed again with an open stance keeping his hands inside through the ball with an exit velocity of 76 mph. His bat path is mostly level through the zone.
In the OF he recorded the best outfield velocity at 81 mph from high 3/4 slot with some carry. He fields ball off glove side and uses a strong finish after the throw. He ran a 7.5 60 yard dash.
