NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Preseason All-State (February 20, 2017)
Kelley stands 6-foot-1, 215 pounds with a durable thick build. Pitching- He uses a slower side-step with a faster knee-lift. He uses long back arm-action releasing from a high-3/4 slot, some head lean towards firstbase. Fastball topped 82 mph sitting 78-81. Curveball at times has 11/5 quality shape, appeared to let up his hand-speed during this event when throwing the CB.
NY All-Star Games (Sept 17, 2016)
Kelley continues to make jumps on the mound the more we see him. Physical size at 6-foot-1, 215-pounds, lower half is thick with broad shoulders. Pitching- Delivery is slower paced, arm-action is back and long creating signs of next-level hand-speed on both his fastball (83 mph) and his curveball (evidenced by the spin). He also mixes in a splitfinger that acts as his changeup showing some variety of movement. This is a critical winter-spring of training for the Horseheads HS Junior as he looks to garner college interest come the warmer months.
ENY Prospect Preview (August 2, 2016)
Kelley stands a firm 6-foot-1, 215-pounds with thick shoulders, and a powerful lower-half. We have seen Kelley a handful of times, and will again Sept. 17 at the New York All-Star Games. Each time we see him throw he's closer to breaking out and being a sought after prospect. Pitching- On the mound he uses a quicker pace to his delivery, upper-half is crouched over this waist, knee lift above belt. He breaks his hands as his front leg drives forwards, arm action is very long and deep, no restrictions, releases the ball from a high-3/4 slot with some slight head lean towards first-base. Staying taller with his upper-half may allow for  increased depth to his pitches. Fastball currently sits 78-80 mph, popping a handful of 81's at the event, clear signs of more velocity in his arm. Curveball (66-67 mph) shows above-average spin, with average control, 11/5 shape with hard action. He recently showed a split-finger, replacing his changeup. The split-finger had fastball feel, but hard arm-side drop, a pitch that if developed correctly could me an out-pitch.
New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Stands 6-foot-1, 215-pounds with a strong frame. FB was 80-81 MPH while a CU at 67-69 and a breaking ball at 66-67. Pitching- Delivery starts slow and smooth staying tall above the rubber. Uses a violent leg kick while sinking slightly into the back knee and driving direct over the front side. Shows the ability to repeat and good feel for his breaking ball.  The slow to fast pace in his delivery also adds some deception to hitters. With a highly projectable frame and above average arm speed for a 2018 he should see some good gains in the coming year.
Preseason All-State (Feb 28, 2015)
Kelley has continued to gain size and strength since we last saw him on Aug 27th. Now standing at 6-foot-1, 215-pounds with a thick solidly build body-frame. Pitching - quick tempo to his delivery, very long arm-action, clean with good front side direction down the mound. He gets the arm-slot to an over-the-top look with some upper-body tilt towards 1B. Shorter finish over his front side, needs to work on getting out in front more. Fastball sat 77-79 mph, topping 80 -  a nice climb from 77 tops in Aug. Curveball has good spin with next-level depth at 61-64. Change up sits 64.

WNY All-Star Games (August 27, 2015)

Stands at 6-foot-0, 188 pounds, with an athletic body build.  On the mound, he starts with his hands mid-level, and used a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with a more over the top arm slot.  He uses a good counter rotation, with a high leg lift to a slight drop and drive technique.  He has a long, clean arm action that projects velocity in the future.   His fastball was (77 MPH).  Curveball (61-64 MPH) with nice downward action.  During the game, he used his pitches really well getting hitters to miss and hit groundballs.
New York Games (July 7-9, 2015)
Kelley has a good pitchers build, standing 6-foot-0, 188-pounds with a long, clean arm action that projects velocity. Already touching 77 mph, and demonstrates ability to spin the ball above average, fast hand speed. Future is bright for Kelley if his work ethic matches his ability.

Futures Showcase (February 28, 2015)
Kelley stands a strong 6-foot even, 188-pounds with wide shoulders and room for growth.  On the mound he starts with his hands mid level, and used a side step to his balance point.  Good counter rotation, with a high leg lift to a slight drop and drive technique.  Arm action is loose to a high cocked 3/4 arm angle.  Showed good arm strength with his FB (75) , and late break on his cb at (61).  Look for his velocity to jump at he matures and gains strength.  Finishes out in front with good extension.  Someone to watch in the near future.
