Taylor is a athletic 5-foot-10 160 RHP. Pitching- Sets up mid rubber using a short side step up to a chest high balance point; separates out of the glove with extended reach back. Arm action works through a high 3/4 slot with some life. Lands slightly open and on front heel; FB showed sat at 80-82 MPH, flashed a 12-6 CB with some late downward spike action at 68-70 MPH along with a CH at 74-75 MPH. Feels all three pitches and repeats delivery.

Mitch is a very hard-working RHP that continues to develop the more we see him. Last July we had his fastball sitting 75-76 mph with an athletic arm-action we liked a lot. His velo keeps climbing giving us more reason to believe we haven't seen his best yet. Pitching - setup is a little off-center, quicker delivery once he starts his leg-lift - hands climb high with knee. Good shoulder/hip separation as he drives towards home-plate, body leans towards the fist-base side as he releases from an over-the-top slot. When he stays behind the ball he gets some downward tilt to his 80-81 mph fastball. Change up is advanced for his age showing command and arm-fade sitting 70-73. Pitching prospect to follow.

Taylor has a slender but athletic build from the mound. Pitching- Very controlled and balanced delivery, head stays locked in on target, clean arm action, throws from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball locked in around 75, topped 77 MPH with signs of more in the tank, curveball has late action 10/4 shape, changeup when down had sink and hand speed. Young arm from the southern-tier that has a chance to be very good.

Taylor stands at 5-foot-9, 145-pounds, with an athletic body build.  He has a smooth approach through the ball, with smooth, soft, quick hands, throws with a high 3/4 arm slot, plays through the ball nicely and has accuracy on the target.  Mitch is also a catcher who displayed good skills receiving the ball and had a clean transfer.  At the plate setup is open stance, short stride, with a no load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging with mid-section finish through the ball, with a high finish and good extension.
