Little separation when loading but stays short to the ball. Two-handed shoulder high finish. Increased use of backside can increase the 85 MPH exit velocity. Defensively- Reads hops/ fly balls well in outfield. Wulforst uses momentum towards the base he’s throwing to. Lower arm slot, arm velocity from outfield is 82 MPH (2 MPH increase from July 2015).
Buckeye Elite Showcase- OH (July 8, 2015)
6-foot, 165-pound athletic, thinner body frame with room to fill out with. Defensively- In the infield he uses good footwork to approach ground balls, playing through the baseball. He fields with his hands out in front of his body and throws with a clean, short arm action coming from a ¾ slot. He reached a top velocity of 77 mph across the infield. In the outfield he uses good footwork to approach the baseball. He fields ground balls with his hand out in front of his body, on his glove side. Throws with a clean arm action coming from a ¾ slot, using 80 mph velocity.
