Bianchi is a slender/wiry 5-foot-8 150 pounds. Plays OF, LHP and runs a respectable 7.1 60. Offensively- Left handed hitter, hands starting just above the shoulder and bat pointing up. Quiet toe touch load, hands take direct path to the ball; slight inside-out swing path. Finishes tall and in balance at point of contact. Minimal stride with decent lift, strength improvements can help Bianchi’s 81 MPH exit velocity, finishes high with 2 hands. Defensively- Gets around/through ball smoothly. Deliberate with transfer and footwork/crowhop. Could benefit from additional aggression. Arm strength peaked at 79 MPH with good carry. More in the tank with added tempo and physical gains to his frame.
