Posted pop times between 2.09-2.13, with the ability to bump those up even higher with more fluidity in transfer from glove to throwing hand. Arm strength is evident based on 73 mph throws at his age, a number which should continue to climb in the coming seasons. On offense, his feet start shoulder width apart with a slight bat waggle, a very slight toe tap helps his timing as the pitch comes in. Showed promising pop, with ability to hit gaps on occasion, mostly a line drive approach at present. There was comfort going the other way, showing the ability to hit the ball to all fields. He’s promising catcher to monitor in the coming seasons, expected development in the offensive profile and absorbing the nuances of catching could help him rise the positional ranks in his upperclass seasons.
