A 6-foot, 145-pound prospect. At the plate he is a righty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a double tap to get lower half going. Hands stay simple prior to launch. Path is level and swing is compact. Barrel has some whip and gets through contact well. Line drive type guy presently with more to come as he adds strength. A rangy middle infielder with a quick first step. Moves very well laterally. Tends to play from heels at times. Ball skills are average to slightly above average at this stage. Has the arm to play all infield spots. On the mound the right-hander brings above average athleticism to the position. Delivery is fluid and requires little effort. Arm action is long with a slight hitch in the back. Works through a high-¾ slot with above average arm speed. Fastball was mostly straight through the zone with slight run at times. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that showed potential. The offering has depth and sharpness with signs of more action to come once velocity increases.
