From the crouch he uses pretty good footwork, but could improve his footwork by getting his right leg transferred back to help square himself up on his throws to second base. He throws with a clean, short arm action coming from a high ¾ slot. He reached a top velocity of 69 mph on his throws to produce pop times between 2.19-2.26. On the mound he uses repeatable mechanics in a delivery in which he uses regular effort. He lands slightly closed at foot strike. He uses average arm speed, coming from an upper ¾ slot. His fastball was between 74-78 mph. His curveball had gradual break with 11/5 tilt at 59-60 mph. He threw his changeup near fastball arm speed at 67 mph.
