Is able to maintain rhythm through a toe turn load before getting the bat through the zone on a level path. Produced line drives in batting practice and registered an exit velocity of 77 mph. Ran a 5.1 from home to first. Has adequate footwork behind the plate with average transfer skills at this stage. Pop times ranged from 2.1-2.18, and he threw with 70 mph arm strength to second base.

He initiates his movement by rocking his weight to his back leg before transferring that weight into contact through a short stride. Hands stay relatively simple before firing the barrel through the zone on a level path. Reached a top exit velocity of 72 mph. From behind the plate Barry starts in a low, athletic crouch before doing a good job of squaring himself to second base during his transfer. Will need to quicken up his footwork and transfer as he matures. Pop times ranged from 2.4-1.51, and he threw with 68 mph arm strength to second base. Ran a 7.91 60-yard dash.
