6-foot-3, 260-pound thick build. On the mound the southpaw showed good direction to home plate while working with a slower tempo. Long arm action with some looseness to it. Fastball has some run to it while sitting 70-75 mph. Has feel for a 63-65 mph changeup where he maintains fastball armspeed. Also flashed a curveball with gradual break and a 1/7 shape. Starts in a balanced setup before his controlled stride forward. Lower his is loaded through a leg kick. Definite strength through the zone with gap to gap pop at this stage. Registered a top exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 5.05 from home to first. Moves adequately off the bag at first base with average glove skills at this stage. Would like to see him play lower.
