6-foot, 160 pound athletic frame. From the infield he has soft hand and does a good job putting himself in good position to field the baseball out in front of him. He throws from a high ¾ slot with good arm action and a top velocity of 80 mph. From the outfield he’s very athletic out there but needs to work on his footwork a bit on the run through ball with a top velocity from the outfield of 82 mph. Right handed hitter starts with his front foot closed and then uses a good load. Shows good bat speed but tends to have his barrell in and out of the zone with a top exit velocity of 78 mph and 4.61 home to first. On the mound he does a good job staying over his back leg on his delivery and opens up at foot strike. He throws from over the top with a fastball sitting 80-81 mph with down angle. His curveball sits at 71-73 mph with a big break and inconsistent at times. He also throws a late breaking slider at 76-77 and a hard changeup at 77 mph.

Showed quick release with clean, short arm action with descent arm strength reaching a top velocity of 80 mph. From the outfield he showed a good clean arm action with descent arm strength at 81 mph. Took descent routes to the ball, would like to see improvement with a crow hop. Right-handed hitter begins with a balanced set up, uses a good weight shift with lower half to back leg, using an upward bat path. Showed ability to use both sides of the field with doubles type power and reached a top exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 4.63 to first.
10/27/13
5-foot-11, 150-pound prospect. Medium body shows good raw baseball skills. Ran 7.22 60 yard dash with 82 mph arm strength. Overall defense will improve with enhanced body balance and footwork. Bat speed (75 mph exit velo) will improve with compact trigger. Shows uphill bat path plane and good bat finish. Gets moderate lower half torque. Has directional delivery on the mound with moderate arm speed through upper 3/4 slot. Fastball ranges 74-75 mph. Has slurvey type breaking ball (65-66 mph). Change shows some sink action (69-70 mph).
7/24/13
5-foot-11, 145-pound prospect with thin, athletic frame. Registered a 7.39 60-yard dash. In the field, he uses short arm action through a high ¾ arm slot. Shows accuracy on his throws with a top velocity of 72 mph. Needs to work on consistently playing through the baseball as he has a tendency to sit back. At the plate, he starts in a tall stance and slightly open. Uses a short stride. Contact type hitter with average bat speed. Takes short, level path to the ball. On the mound, he throws through a high ¾ to over the top arm slot. He uses short arm action with regular effort. His fastball is straight at 73-75 mph. He also uses a 67-69 mph cutter with some spin. His breaking ball sits 63-65 mph with gradual 12/6 action and his changeup shows some fade at 67-69 mph. He needs to maintain the same arm speed on the pitch.
