2/20/17
At the plate he starts with his barrel vertical and initiates his loading sequence with a leg kick. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Barrel had noticeable whip through the zone and he showed pop to his pull side. Natural tools are above average and a flatter path would let them show more frequently in his swing. Defensively, he looks very comfortable in the outfield. Footwork is fluid and he takes efficient routes to the baseball. Uses an exaggerated crow hop to get momentum into his throws. Threw with accuracy to home plate. On the mound, the righty throws with long arm action through a high ¾ slot. Delivery has some effort to it. Fastball showed good arm side run at 79-81 mph. Breaking ball needs to become more consistent. When his release point was out in front, he threw an effective, late breaking curveball at 65-66 mph. Also showed a developing 67-70 mph changeup.

60-yard dash: 7.14
Outfield Velocity: 81
Exit Velocity: 72

1/29/17
Projectable right-hander, with room to grow physically. Displays looseness in the arm and quick tempo delivery that requires some effort. Fastball comes out of a low ¾ slot, at 79-83 mph, the pitch has late hard sinking action. The curveball is late breaking with 11/5 tilt at 69-70 mph. Thrown with fastball arm speed, the changeup is a good pitch at 73-74 mph with late sink. Offensively, he initiates his loading sequence with a leg kick. Starts with bat vertical prior to taking a level path to the baseball. Solid barrel direction and above average pop. Worked well to the middle of the field in batting practice.

Outfield Velocity: 84
Exit Velocity: 65
