A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a leg kick to initiate his lower half prior to his short stride. Hands are simple prior to launch. Path has some natural loft and the barrel gets through contact well. Stronger than he is fast at this stage. In the infield he plays under control approaching the baseball. Tends to play from heels inside his funnel. Hands are soft and glove skills are developing. Transfer is clean and arm is loose. Actions are more athletic on the move. The right-handed pitching prospect creates solid energy from his lower half. Allows his body to sink into back hip creating efficient torque into his delivery. Provides a wide stride with all momentum landing on his front foot. A closed stance release with a slight fall-over motion toward the first base side. An over-the-top release with a straight, well-located fastball. Spins a 12/6 curveball with solid break. More room to improve on his breaking pitch. With a well-built frame, the prospect has room to improve and develop on the bump considerably.
