8/2/15
6-foot-2, 190-pound athletic build. At the plate the left-handed hitter starts slightly open and gets to even. Starts with high hands and shifts his weight with a high leg kick load. Dives in on the swing with a even swing plane as he drove the ball to all fields in his round of batting practice. Generated an 83 mph exit velocity while running a 4.60 from home to first.

2/22/15
6-foot-2, 190-pound two-way prospect with projectable frame. On the mound, he throws from a high-¾ arm slot. Uses a stiff leg kick with tendency to fall off to third base side. Fastball showed arm-side run at 70-72 mph. Breaking ball showed late 1/7 action at 60-63 mph while changeup showed some fade to it at 60-65 mph. Defensively, he projects as a corner outfield type. Tendency to open early on his throws. Top velocity of 73 mph with accuracy. At the plate, the left-handed hitter is an upper-body type hitter at this stage. Uses a small leg kick. Will improve as he is able get hips through and clear front side. Hands work well through the zone and creates some pop off of his bat. Top exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran an impressive 4.36 home to first.

6/12/13 Harwood looks the part.  A lanky 6-foot-1 170-pounds athlete.  Played through the ball well at 1B. Throws were a bit inconsistent. H3/4 Slot.  At the plate was balanced with smooth load.  Line drive stroke. Seemed to have a tendency to pull.

On the mound touched 72mph.  Strike thrower with 57-59mph breaking ball. Kept change down well 60-62mph.  Only a freshman plenty of time to grow.
