This was Neale's first appearance at a PBR event. After a strong summer and fall, the lanky righty showed the live arm that is drawing the attention of college coaches. He uses long arm action through a high 3/4 arm slot with some quickness. The nerves may have gotten to him a bit, but when he kept direction and stay closed, he showed a consistent mid 80's fastball in the zone with arm side run. His breaking ball sat in the low 70's with late 11/5 action down in the zone. It should be an effective out pitch at the next level. He showed command of a 74-76 mph changeup with good arm speed and fading action. Overall, Neale isn't the most polished prospect but given his frame, arm speed, and potential, he will attract plenty of attention from Division I programs.
