5-foot-11, 175-pound pitching prospect with a solid, athletic build. Still recovering from Tommy John surgery. Shows quickness in his arm and some effort in his delivery. Fastball has some late life. Velocity sat 79-82 mph on this occasion, but he was 82-84 mph in December. Changeup shows similar movement as his fastball at 66-68 mph. Didn’t throw breaking balls due to recovery plan.

5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed pitcher that is returning from Tommy John surgery (winter of 2012). Shows good balanced delivery and presence with moderate arm speed through 3/4 arm slot. Fastball showed some late life, ranging 82-84 mph (arm worked well). Changeup (67-68 mph) showed some downward action. Obviously was not asked to throw any breaking balls at this time. 

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect impressed on the mound during the MWFG with a consistent 82-83 mph fastball. His long and loose arm action helped him consistently throw a sinking fastball low in the zone. With additional development of his off-speed pitches, Stephenson could find himself being a Division I pitching prospect.
