On the mound the right-hander has a slower tempo that picks up prior to release. A drop and drive type guy with shorter arm action. Working through a high-¾ slot he sat 72-75 mph with his fastball. Maintained fastball arm speed on his changeup that came in at 66-67 mph. Breaking ball was sharp when down in the zone at 68-71 mph. The pitch showed tight spin and a 10/4 shape. In the outfield he gets to the ball in a timely fashion and fields the baseball on his glove foot side. Does a nice job of finishing his throws. Starts in an open setup at the plate with the majority of his weight on his back leg. Gets back to even through a controlled stride. Hands move back prior to getting the bat through the zone on a downhill path. Would like to see him loosen up hands.
