1/28/17 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect. The right-hander has a strong build. The delivery has balance and requires regular effort. He works through a high ¾ slot with a short arm action. Working on a downhill plane, the fastball is mostly straight sitting 75-77 mph. His curveball has 11/5 tilt and shows some depth at 58-62 mph. He also showed a changeup that has late sink and sat 69-70 mph. A right handed hitter whose strength shows in his swing. Mechanics are efficient and creates solid energy with his lower half. Ball jumps off his bat when he finds the barrel. His natural uphill path works well to the opposite field. Would like to see him loosen up his hands during his loading sequence. Third base type. Shows softness in his hands. Made plays to glove hand and back hand side. Shows length in his transfer. Tendency to windup with long arm action.

7/26/16 6-foot-1, 180-pound strong, athletic frame. At the plate his best attribute is he strength. Ball looked different coming off his bat and it showed with his 90 mph exit velocity. Raw mechanically and will need to loosen up/ add rhythm for his power to show in games consistently but the tools are there. Hit a backside triple in the game. At third base he has average hands and feet at this stage. Would like to see him player lower. Threw across the infield with 70 mph arm strength. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. On the mound he worked through a high-3/4 slot with some armspeed. Fastball sat 74-76 mph and was complimented by his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. Threw strikes and was effective.
