Body Type: 5-foot-9, 145 pounds. Athlete with lean build and room to add.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Produces a higher ¾ arm slot and has shorter arm action up to release. Provides an even flowing tempo with solid intent behind each throw. Lower half looked to be effective, but there’s more in the tank to be used.

Fastball: 70-72 mph. Not much movement behind it right now. Threw for strikes though.

Curveball: 60-61 mph. Slower breaking at to it with a 11-5 tilt.

Changeup: 64-66 mph. Nice downward tumble to it with some later tailing arm-side run. Kept it low.

Knuckleball: 61-63 mph. One of his better off-speed pitches. Catches up to you quickly then knuckles out downward causing eye levels to change.  

Pitchability: Size is what will help this righty. As he develops over the next two years and fills out his body look to see his talent improve with velocity and better command overall of his off-speed pitches.

On the bump the right-hander shows good tempo to his lower effort delivery. Arm action is compact with strength/speed developing through a high-¾ slot. Fastball will stay mostly straight through the zone, using both sides of the plate at 67-70 mph. Maintains arm speed on his changeup that consistently run and dove at 64-65 mph. Breaking ball has big, gradual action on an 11/5 plane at 59-60 mph. The pitch should develop more depth/sharpness as velo increases with physical maturity. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Launches from a balanced setup and takes a slightly uphill path to the baseball. Barrel has some lag, generating developing natural tools through the zone. Contact tupe guy presently with more to come as he matures physically. In the infield he has smooth feet and soft hands. Footwork is efficient, allowing him to maintain rhythm throughout fielding. Arm is fringy for the left side and would his biggest area for improvement.
