Defensively, he projects best at second base. Takes direct routes to the ball prior to fielding in the middle of his body. Transitions from fielding into his throws cleanly. Glove skills are adequate at this stage. A contact hitter at the plate that routinely found the barrel in batting practice. Starts balanced prior to his short stride forward. Hands move back to a strong launch position before he triggers. Path is level and bat has some quickness to it. Was at his best when he worked the middle of the field.

5-foot-9, 140-pound thin build. At the plate the righty starts with a wide setup and uses a no stride, inward knee turn load. Hands stay simple before getting through the zone on a level path. Showed good extension through contact and had a top exit velocity of 73 mph. In the infield he has a very quick first step and moves well laterally. Did a nice job of fielding the ball out in front of his body. Threw across the infield accuretly, with 66 mph arm strength. Ran a 4.6 from home to first.
