7/12/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Barrel starts vertical before flattening prior to launch. Creates energy with his lower half through a leg kick and weight shift. Path is level with solid whip through the zone. Natural tools are above average and he looks to have much more physical maturity to come. Expect any added strength to translate to pop with his efficient swing. Present line drive type guy. In the outfield, he approaches the ball directly while gathering momentum. Fields the ball out front on his glove foot. Releases from a high 3/4 arm slot with developing arm speed. On the mound the right-hander has a slower paced tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Stays tall at balance point before his drop and drive load. Lands slightly closed at foot strike with his momentum taking him towards the first base line as he finishes. Arm moves through a high-3/4 slot with developing arm speed. Fastball was in and out of the zone, staying mostly true. His go to secondary offering was his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. The pitch showed gradual break and was mostly in the zone.

7/6/16
5-foot-11, 135-pound thin, projectable body frame. Right-handed hitter starts from a balanced stance using a good, rhythmic weight shift with his lower half to his back leg to generate power. Has minimal load with his hands, swinging with a level bat path through the zone, and finishes with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Reached a top exit velocity of 77 mph and ran an 8.02 60-yard dash. From the outfield, he could work on his run throughs by adding a crow-hop. Throws with a short arm action into a high ¾ slot with 70 mph arm strength. On the mound, he throws with regular effort. Long back arm action into a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 64-67 mpjh. Curveball sat 57-60 mph with gradual break. Changeup sat 61-63 mph
