6-foot, 150-pound prospect. Thin frame. Simple delivery with leg kick. Delivery requires some effort. Fastball sat at 71-73 mph. More to come with improved use of lower half. Tendency to show his breaking ball out of the glove. The pitched showed 11/5 break down in the zone. Needs to maintain arm speed on the pitch to be more effective. Changeup showed occasional arm side run at 60-61 mph. At the plate the righty starts in a wide stance and uses a double tap load and timing mechanism to initiate his lower half. A lack of weight transfer causes him to take a slightly uphill path to the ball. Showed good pop to his opposite field gap in batting practice. Would like to see him transfer weight into contact to be able to create backspin to his pull-side as well. Registered a top exit velocity of 77 mph. In the infield he did a good job of playing low and looked very comfortable going to his glove side. He threw across the diamond with 71 mph arm strength and ran a 4.97 from home to first.
