A left-handed hitter at the plate that starts in an athletic position. Loading sequence is rhythmic and efficient. An ambush type guy with impressive bat speed. Swings with intent, showing impressive strength through contact. Ball jumped off his bat when he was on time. Tends to get to front foot a little early, Some of the more raw power we saw at the event. Impressive pull side juice. In the outfield he uses calm, athletic footwork approaching the baseball. Ball skills are well above average for his age. Plays through the ball well and gets rid of it in a timely fashion. Ball jumps out of his hand, showing impressive arm strength and carry. Behind the plate he starts in an athletic stance. Gets out of crouch decently well, with his footwork creating direction. Exchange skills are adequate. Looks to be slightly more advanced in the outfield at this stage, with some upside behind the plate due to arm strength.

In the outfield he sits back on the baseball before using to hands to ensure ball security. Would like to see him play one handed to field through the ball more efficiently. Does a nice job of utilizing his crow hop to get momentum into his throws that were consistently on target. Behind the plate he does a nice job gaining ground during his transfer. Footwork is above average and transfer has some quickness to it. At the plate the lefty starts open and gets back to even with a fluid knee pinch and controlled stride. Maintains rhythm with his hands as they move to launch. Strong kid with solid bat speed. Has the look of a middle of the order type guy down the road.

5-foot-11, 190-pound athletic build. At the plate, the left-handed hitter starts with an open stance and gets to even. Shows some power in his swing with the ability to drive the ball to all portions of the field. Registered a top exit velocity of 85 mph. Behind the plate he shows good footwork and a quick arm, pop times ranging 2.03-2.18. In the outfield he shows good momentum through the baseball on his run-throughs. Could improve footwork to become more fluid. Throws from a high ¾ slot with 84 mph arm strength in the outfield. In the infield, he shows average footwork, throws from a high ¾ slot with 77 mph arm strength across the diamond.
