At the plate he starts in an athletic setup and uses a knee pinch load to get things started. Hands move back, fluidly to launch. An upper half dominate hitter with obvious quickness to his bat. Path is mostly level, with a tendency to get uphill at times. Worked mostly to his pull side in batting practice, showing the ability to turn on the ball with authority at times. Would like to see more of a weight shift into contact to produce more consistent ball flight. Uses smooth footwork in the outfield, getting to the baseball in a timely fashion. Crow hop is efficient and he gets rid of the ball quickly. Throws were consistently on target with some carry. Solid outfielder. In the outfield he flashed athleticism to his actions and confidence in his glove. Glove skills are adequate and throws were consistently on target. At first base he moves off the bag well and showed confidence in his glove. Tends to field the ball deep in the middle of his body.
