7/12/17
In the infield, his feet move very well, playing in rhythm. Fields the ball out in front of his body on his toes before funneling the ball into his waist. Transfers the ball smoothly. Releases from a 3/4 arm slot with average arm strength. A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall setup. Hands stay fluid and loose during his short stride. Path is slightly downhill with twitch through the zone. A strong kid with a fast bat. Showed present gap pop with much more to come as he fills out his athletic, projectable frame. Definite young bat to follow. On the mound he works with fluidity and rhythm to his delivery. Arm action is shorter, while working through a near over the top slot. His mid to upper 70s fastball works downhill with slight cut a times. Both secondary offerings were in the zone consistently. Spins a sharp, 11/5 shaped breaking ball that has enough action to be a put away pitch. Also showed a changeup that has some run and dive to it.

6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect. Defensively, he starts in an athletic stance. Tendency to get wide and flat receiving the ball. Will be aided by keeping his feet moving and creating angles towards first base. Showed comfortability going to his glove side. Short arm action with top velocity of 73 mph across the infield. Very impressive performance at the plate. Loading sequence is fluid and creates solid energy into contact. Strength and bat speed are both well above average tools. Creates solid barrel whip through the zone and consistently produced line drives in batting practice. On the mound, the right handed pitcher throws through a high ¾ slot with short arm action. Fastball consistently sits between 75-77 mph. Shows strong command with offspeed pitches. The breaking ball displays gradual 11/5 break at 62-64 mph. Also mixes in a 63-66 mph changeup.

60 Yard Dash: 7.14
Position Velocity: 73
Exit Velocity: 84
