7/15/15
5-foot-8, 167-pound solid build. Left-handed hitter with a good set up then dives in and needs to get his foot down sooner. Flat path with 80 mph exit velocity and was 4.9 down the line. At first base he shows good footwork around the bag and good range coming off the base. Soft hands with 73 mph arm strength across the diamond. On the mound the southpaw has a compact delivery that stays in it and good direction. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with fastball sitting 74-75 mph. Spins a breaking ball with good depth and 1/7 tilt at 61-63 mph. Showcases a solid changeup at 66 mph with good arm speed and some sink.
2/16/15
5-foot-8, 167-pound average body frame. On the mound his delivery requires regular effort while using a straight up and down leg lift with simple, repeatable mechanics. He uses average arm speed and has a short arm action coming through a ¾ arm slot. His fastball shows natural tailing movement at times ranging between 71-74 mph. His curveball had loopy, gradual breaking action at 56-58 mph. Has a tendency to slow his arm speed down just a little bit at times on his changeup that he throws at 58-62 mph.
