Williams has reinvented himself physically since the last time we’ve seen him, showing up looking like a different guy appearing much leaner/muscular than at last year's’ event. The newfound physicality/athleticism showed in the box as Williams has added noticeable batspeed and pop. Run producer type bat. Also brings versatility with glove, playing both third base and the catcher position at an above average level.

A righty swinger with big time juice. Stays rhythmic and fluid throughout his loading sequence. Showed very impressive strength and bat speed through the zone. Hands stay loose as the barrel gets vertical, causing solid barrel whip and good barrel direction. Has middle of the lineup tools. Consistently drove the ball with authority in batting practice, showing the ability to produce backspin. Behind the plate, he shows advanced skills. Starts in a balanced stance. Quick jab step to his footwork with little wasted movement. Maintains direction. Obvious quickness in his hands. Baseball is in and out with his transfer. Makes up for present arm strength. Pop times ranged between 2.04 to 2.07.
