6-foot-1, 188-pound prospect. Corner outfield/infield prospect. Best tool is his bat. Uses a leg kick to initiate his lower half, which creates tendency to dive a bit. Uphill path to the ball. Some rhythm to his swing and pop in his bat. Top exit velocity of 93 mph. From the outfield, he reached a top velocity of 83 mph. High 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. Ran a 7.14 60.
10/27/13
6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect with good athletic body and good raw skills. Ran 7.27 60-yard dash. Shows body balance and arm strength (84 mph) with carry. Has hand quickness (84 mph exit velo) with uphill bat path plane. Quick into hit zone with long one hand swing finish. Gets good lower half swing torque.
2/10/13
6-foot-1, 180-pound outfielder with strong, athletic frame. Reached a top velocity of 83 mph on his throws from the outfield. Best suited as a corner outfielder at the next level. Needs to continue improving footwork. Offensively, the left-handed hitter can swing it. Shows fast bat speed (89 mph exit velocity) with a slight uphill path to the ball. Swing could be simplified as he tends to rock in his load and create some diving issues. Bat will be his key for the next level.
10/28/12
6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect with solid, athletic frame. Posses big time left-handed bat. Uses shoulder level trigger with quick bat speed through the zone. Consistently squares the ball up well. Overall, simple, fluid swing that produces big time power. Draws comparisons to Zach Sterry (2013 Oakland University recruit). Registered 7.51 60-yard dash. Still needs to polish up defensive skills. Shows some raw abilities with 81 mph strength from the outfield with some carry and 75 mph velocity across the infield. Likely projects best as an outfielder at the next level.
