6-foot-2, 165-pound prospect. Behind the plate, he starts slightly open. Steps to the outside of his body and gets tall. Needs to work on squaring back up his lower half. Arm action is short and has some quickness to his transfer. Pop times ranged between 2.08 to 2.14. At the plate he starts in a tall setup prior to his controlled forward movement. Hands get to a strong launch point and take a downhill path to the baseball. Barrel gets in and out of the zone quickly. Swing in compact with above average bat speed. Ball came off his bat well in batting practice. Would see more consistent ball flight with a flatter path.
