6-foot-3, 245-pound prospect with big frame. Pitches exclusively out of the stretch. Slow tempo. Lands closed and cuts himself off. More to come with improved use of lower half. Throws from high ¾ slot with short arm action. Fastball sat at 70-71 and was straight. Breaking ball was up in the zone with spin at 60-61 mph. Changeup was straight at 62-63 mph. At the plate he starts slightly open and uses a double tap load and stride to gather/transfer his weight. He starts with his bat flat, almost pointing towards the catcher and fires it through the zone on a level path. Reached a top exit velocity of 79 mph. At first base he did a good job of creating angles to second base on his double play balls. Will need to quicken up his feet as he matures. He threw across the diamond with 73 mph arm strength and ran a 5.28 from home to first.
