In the infield, he plays with fluidity. Moves laterally very well. Fields the ball cleanly while carrying his momentum towards first base. Occasionally gets caught flat footed on short hops. Funnels the ball to his waist prior to smoothly transferring the ball. Shows the ability to throw from multiple arm angles. Arm strength is adequate for second base. A left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Hands move slightly back during his knee pinch load and short stride. Path is uphill with quickness to his bat. Barrel showed whip to is at times. A contact type guy who can find the gap. Flashed more pop to his pull side. On the mound the right-hander brings an athletic presence. Mechanically efficient and arm works. Fastball gets out of his hand well, with slight run and sink at times. Consistently was in the zone with the offering that sat 76-78 mph. His best offspeed offering was his changeup. The pitch had heavy cut and run to it, maintaining fastball arm speed. The change was one of if not the best we saw all day. Breaking ball was sharp as well. The pitch had depth and enough action to produce swing and miss.
