A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Uses a short stride for timing. Hands stay simple during loading sequence. Swing is compact with barrel direction to left field. Has some barrel whip through the zone. Gets on plane early. Would be aided by having barrel flow to the middle of the field. Contact guy at this stage. In the outfield he uses calm footwork and plays under control. Fields the ball on his glove foot side and transitions smoothly into his throws. Arm strength would be area for improvement. On the mound the right-hander works exclusively from the stretch. Delivery is smooth and requires little effort. Arm works through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. Fastball was mostly straight through the zone at 63-65 mph. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape to it, with gradual break at 65-68 mph. Was mostly in the zone with the pitch and had confidence in it.

5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect. A righty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Keeps his hands simple during his aggressive stride forward. Bat takes a compact, downhill path to the ball. Would like to see him loosen up his hands to let his natural tools show in his swing. Worked better to his pull side in batting practice. An outfielder that does a nice job of getting to the baseball in a timely fashion. Glove skills are developing. Uses a crow hop for momentum into his throws that were on target for the most part.
