6-foot-1, 192-pound athletic body frame. Right-handed hitter starts his swing from a tall stance, using a toe tap back for timing. Loads with his hands moving past his back shoulder, with a pause before he swings. Swings with a level bat path through the zone, finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Produced a top exit velocity of 82 mph and ran an 8.08 60-yard dash. In the infield, he shows average range. Fields with his hands together. Has a tendency to field too deep. Throws from a high ¾ slot with 67 mph arm strength. On the mound he uses minimal hip load in a controlled, knee-high leg kick, in a delivery that doesn’t require much effort. Lands in a straight line at foot strike, with his momentum carrying in good direction toward home plate. Throws using average arm speed through a lower ¾ slot. Can add velocity to his fastball when he needs to, ranging from 63-71 mph, and was able to maintain his velocity from the stretch. His curveball has gradual break with 1/7 tilt at 56-69 mph. Throws his changeup using fastball arm speed between 61-62 mph.
