6/11/19

Body type: 6-foot projectable frame.

Swing mechanics: Engages entire body by loading into his back leg.

Hit:  Level bat path with intent to the middle of the field.  Natural ball flight off the bat.

Power:  Pop to the pull side with more to come as he develops and adds size.

Offensive projection:  To be determined.
Field: In the infield he plays with smooth feet, attacking the ball linearly off the bat. Hands work well, showing ball skills on par for class.
Throw:
Arm works well, more strength to come with maturity.
Defensive Projection:
MIF.

12/11/16

A 5-foot-11, 145-pounds. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Loading sequence is relatively simple as he takes his hands back during his short stride forward. Showed above average bat speed while taking a downhill path to contact. Would be aided by flattening out his path to let his natural tools be more effective. Reached a top exit velocity of 70 mph off the tee. A shortstop that threw across the infield with 68 mph arm strength, working through an over the top slot. Does a nice job of playing low and fielding the ball out in front of his body. Funnels the baseball into the middle of his body while gathering his feet. Has room to improve his footwork approaching the ball. Made a very impressive diving play to his backhand side.

6/13/16
5-foot-11, 145-pound thin frame. Has a simple approach at the plate. Keeps his hands simple as he takes a short stride forward. Would be aided by getting more out of his lower half. Reached a top exit velocity of 72 mph and ran a 4.65 from home to first. In the infield he takes direct routes to the ball and gets to it in a timely fashion. Average hands and feet at this stage. Through across the infield with 67 mph arm strength.
