5-foot-11, 185-pound strong, athletic build. At the plate he has a simple approach mechanically, taking his hands back during his short stride. Bat path is level and he has obvious strength through contact. Batspeed is above average and he showed the ability to drive balls deep, especially to his pull side. Reached a top exit velocity of 87 mph. Threw across the infield with 82 mph arm strength. Glove works and footwork is athletic. Tends to play from heels at times. Tools are there. On the mound he uses an average tempo into a delivery that requires some effort. Fastball sat 78-79 mph and command will increase as he gets better directionally. Curveball was 68-70 mph with sharp 12/6 break.
