His fastball sits at 83-86 and shows some natural sink. His curveball is thrown near fastball speed and sits at 73-74 mph. It has sharp 11/5 breaking action. He needs to show better command of the pitch. His changeup is thrown near fastball arm speed and thrown at 77-78 mph. It shows arm side run. 10/15/11 The 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed pitching prospect displayed an easy 82-85 mph fastball that he was able to locate on different side of the plate. His slider, which had a tight, late break, sat at 69-70 mph. Lastly, this changeup, which showed the occasional sink, registered at 73-74 mph.
