A 6-foot-2 160 slender frame with plenty of room to add strength and power. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle of the field approach, good hand eye. Athletic set-up, some rhythm, slight leg kick, short to the ball, flat plane through contact, good leg drive. Jelinek was perfect at the plate, going 4/4 with singles all in the middle of the field, coming around to score once and one RBI. Defensively, shows the ability to make the routine plays at shortstop.
