Big 6-foot-4, 175-pound player who meets the eye test. Long frame that projects well and has room to add strength. Small toe turn and stride to load while hands stay up and work above the ball. Aggressive hacks in the cage, exit velocity was 83 mph. Will cut finish off at times, got extended through a couple balls and through the head out front with some loud contact. Defensively, moved well for size in the infield. Arm worked across the diamond and showed feel for glove, velocity in the infield was 73 mph. Off the mound, worked out the stretch with a fastball at 78 mph. Arm had some length in the back but was fluid and on-time. Across body with legs, arm works at 3/4 arm slot and manages to get out-front and extended. Must maintain arm speed on changeup while he shows breaking ball at 62-63 mph with some downward action. Like the size, frame, and aggressiveness that Parsons brings, has chance to utilize his size and tools. Will continue to follow.
