Big 6-foot-9, 235-pound left-hander with all the size you could ask for. Worked strictly out the stretch during the bullpen session. Starts with slight hip turn with early separation, will go back into glove with the ball later in his delivery right before lower half and glove start to work towards the plate. Direction and alignment can be better, falls off hard towards third base side leaving his arm to drag at times. Can get real short with his stride. Arm works in the back and gets up to his low-¾ arm slot with average arm speed. Fastball was 79-81 mph and was able to stay around the strike zone. Curveball was more of a slurve, had good rotation and looks as though he could spin it, was 62-64 mph. Threw one that made me buckle while behind the plate. Changeup sat 70-73 mph. Big tall lefty with everything physically you could ask for. Lacks the reps up to this point but with some mechanical adjustments and a quality pitching guy, there is no telling what Perrier could turn into. Very intriguing.
