Now 5-foot-11, 180-pounds, Houle has added size and strength to frame. Hits with aggressive style, quick separation and leg kick, at times would be off balance, did flash some bat speed in batting practice, once Houle finds his timing at the plate, his strength should allow him to find barrells and be more consistent with his swing. Defensively, moved side to side making the plays on forehand and backhand. Gets balls outfront and works across the diamond from 3/4 arm slot that is short in the back and had a top velocity of 73 mph.

5-foot-11, 163-pound 10th-grader who projects well. Strong, stocky build for his age, at the plate is very raw, doesn’t use the lower half, swings down on the ball, lots of grounders. Defensively has a good approach to the ball but tends to stab at it, 70 mph velo cityacross the diamond. Houle is young and has a couple of years to grow but has the body to develop into a legitimate player.
