Big body with size and strength at 6-foot-2, 215-pounds. Body plays well for catcher as he showed quickness in his transfer and lower half. Best pop time was 1.97, was able to get rid of ball quickly from the crouch, arm would get long and over the top as front side blocked off finish as he would miss up and to arm side of the bag at times. Ball did have carry and a velocity of 74 mph from the crouch. At the plate, aggressive hacks with extension through the ball and some bat speed, quick leg kick to load, hands had would work down to ball with small downhill bat path. Did create hard contact with most balls up the middle and to pull side. Overall, 2018 grad with upside and tools to work with. Will be one to track this summer and follow his development.
