A tall and lanky pitcher, with long legs and a body that physically meets the eye test at 6-foot-3, 170-pounds. Still has room to fill out and add more size. Bardoel throws from a ¾ arm slot with clean arm action and works effectively downhill. Sat comfortably between 78-80 mph on his fastball, which has some good movement to it and is thrown for strikes. Has a 1/7 shape on his curve ball and can spin the ball well creating depth. Has a decent feel for his changeup, which shows some cutting action, but at times will noticeably slow his arm down. Overall, Bardoel is a great left-handed pitching prospect who will be worth following this upcoming season.

Young left-hander with physical attributes at 6-foot-2, 160-pounds. Arm works from 3/4 slot, more in frame and lower half to work from. Meets the eye test and young features project more physically out of Bardoel. Average tempo in delivery, gets out front with feel for breaking stuff. Fastball topped at 79 mph, more to come. Curveball was 1/7 shape with downward action, feel for pitch was there as he spun the ball well. 6-foot-2 lefty with clean actions and with some minor adjustments and strength gains, Bardoel has room to make a big leap development wise.
