Now 6-foot-2, 155-pounds, Davies fastball velocity now up to 79 mph as he sat 77-78 all day. Up and down leg kick with ability to generate more in his delivery. Fastball had feel and downward action with 1/7 shape, changeup worked well off his fastball at 68-69 mph. Ball comes out hand nicely, the frame projects with ability to throw strikes with three pitches. One to keep an eye on over the winter and into 2017.

6-foot-1, 145-pound thin, projectable body frame. From the mound he has a high, controlled, straight up and down leg kick in a delivery in which he uses regular effort. Slight pause just before he lands just slightly more open at foot strike, finishing with his momentum carrying more toward third base side. Throws with some quickness to his arm speed through a ¾ slot. His fastball ranged from 72-77 mph. Curveball has mostly gradual break to it with 1/7 tilt between 62-63 mph. Throws his changeup using fastball arm speed, with the pitch having tailing action at 67 mph.
