Cornell is an athletic outfielder at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds. Frame built to add more size and strength as he matures. Ran a 6.96 on slow track, easy to see him lower a few ticks in the near future. Rhythm in the box, incorporates leg kick for load, on time for most part, hands worked well to ball, showing hand eye coordination, looked to keep hands inside and work middle of diamond, will still get the head out and attack, top of the order type guy who puts ball in play with line drive approach. Solid defender who can play all three outfield positions. Will be key player for club team in 2017.

5-foot-10, 160-pound outfielder who bats from the left side. At the plate hands start even, feet shoulder width, and starts with slightly bent knees. Hands quiet during load, has small leg kick, clean swing registering an 84 mph exit velocity, will generate more power when he utilizes more of his lower half. In the outfield has clean actions, good approach to the ball, aggressive through, releases with over-the-top arm slot at 76 mph. Cornell has the tools necessary to flourish, and will be an interesting follow as he adds more size to his frame.
