What Tyler D'Alessandro lacks in size, he makes up in speed, aggressiveness, and athleticism. The Badgers outfielder has good first step quickness and range in centre field along with a strong arm to match. Throws from a 3/4 slot with clean actions, throws are accurate and have a lot carry. D'Alessandro takes good routes and approaches the ball aggressively,
At the plate, Tyler has very quick hands, loads on back foot, has an exaggerated leg kick, and produces very quick bat speed. Athletic at the plate, with a line-drive approach. Has shown some pop and the ability to go the other way. Swing can get loopy at times, but overall has good balance and rhythm at the plate.
Plus makeup, a multi-sport athlete, a respectful guy and a solid teammate who puts in the work and has some flare in his game. Despite being undersized, the 2017 classman is exciting to watch and one to be on many coach's radars.
Leadoff hitter for Great Lake 16/17u. Short left-handed stroke. Athletic centre fielder with speed to his game. Interesting player who looks to have solid foundation. Actions work, no red flags in limited viewing on him in Florida.
