Dolan is a 5-foot-8, 145-pound lefty that has repeatable mechanics from a high 3/4 arm slot. He hides the baseball well with a high knee stack and stays on his mid-line well to the plate. The junior sat 79-80 with both his 4-seam and 2-seam fastballs. Both fastballs showed some cut action with the potential for added movement with a change of grips on the 2-seam. Dolan's changeup sat 68-69 with fastball arm speed and little movement on this day. His best pitch is a hard-biting 67 mph curveball with 1/7 rotation. At times he gets on the side of the pitch causing it to flatten out with late slider break.
