Comments
1/21/18 Initiates swing from slightly ope set up with stride to neutral. Hands work well to baseball and there is feel for barrel. Weight shift is solid followed by a passive hip turn and subtle top half drift. A 76 mph at exit velocity was recorded.
Defensively as OF, attacks and plays through ball on ground while fielding with proper technique off glove side foot. Colletti consistently stays in line and follows throws. His arm slot and ability to stay behind throws limits run/tail lending to arm accuracy.
On the mound, working out of high 3/4 arm slot delivery shows solid rhythm and is repeated well. Colleti does step closed limiting hip rotation. Arm action is loose with FB reaching 78 mph and demonstrating arm side run. CB at 66-67 mph had 11-5 shape with late, short break. Ch at 70 mph was thrown with good sell and consistent fade/sink.
