6/29/16 Physical 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitter with some bat speed. Starts from a wide open stance and strides to slightly closed. Manged to hit through contact fairly well despite barring his front arm in his load. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash; posted 78-mph arm strength and 81 mph exit velocity (all of which he has exceeded at previous events).

2/14/16 Hopkins is a physical, 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitter that starts from an open stance. He initiates his swing with a short, leg-lift stride. Additional work to keep his hands higher in his load will add to already present power potential. Hopkins displayed above average barrel whip (89 mph bat exit velocity) and a feel for the barrel. The freshman ran an impressive 6.79 and showed capable defensive skills in the outfield with 81 mph arm strength from an over-the-top arm slot.
