5-foot-10, 160 pounds, thick, durable, looks the part of a catcher. Not a great runner but quick feet behind the plate, but can continue refining footwork during transition from receiving-to-throwing. Posted pop times between 2.06-2.15 with throws clocked at 75 mph out of the chute. Arm strength could see another increase before his spring high school season. Throws from a high ¾ slot. Has the necessary tools to continue developing into an above average catcher. Offensively, Anderson has a smooth swing with an easy one hand finish, along with solid bat speed. Posted exit velocity of 84 mph. The feet start shoulder width apart with minimal pre-pitch movement. Simple and compact with a level bat path, he barrelled a number of balls during batting practice back up the middle. Line drive approach with loose wrists, and the potential to develop more power in the coming year. Needs to make more consistent in-game contact, which will come as he advances his approach in the box. Overall, he has the bat speed and skills to make a jump this season if he puts it all together in game action.

5-foot-9, 155-pound, average athletic frame, is wiry strong, the neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has plenty of room to fill out. A right-handed hitting catcher, the stance is even, wider than shoulder width, hands are loose at shoulder height, bat starts in a good tilted position. For timing has a minimal stride, hands need to have some separation from the body, want to lean forward with stride foot. The swing path is flat through the zone, made solid contact, has a line drive approach, from gap to gap. If he can keep hands back slightly longer, will create more pop and juice, enough to beat the outfielders. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 80 mph with a ton more in there and ran a 7.39 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, has a balanced setup behind the plate, receives with ease, hands are strong, keeps the baseball in the zone, gives the umpire something to see. The footwork in the transfer is simple, gains ground and gets in line with target. The glove hand gets to throwing hand, had a pop time of 2.09-2.22, the arm was clocked at 70 mph, with more in there. The arm action is clean, short, works free, needs more strength it will come over time. Good looking you catcher, solid follow.
