6-foot-3, 180-pound, long, lengthy athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, has plenty of room to fill out.  A left-handed hitting first baseman, has power to the pull side. The swing has lift and leverage to it, stays through the baseball, the finish is high and athletic. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 78 mph, with a ton more in there. The sixty yard dash was clocked at 7.8. In game performance was very good, collected three hits, two singles and a towering triple to the right center gap. An average defender, hands are soft, needs to create more flow through the baseball, large target to throw too. The glove works around the bag it's soft, with feel to it. The arm was clocked at 74 mph, throws from a lower slot, it has a clean path, good follow, has a chance to hit and hit with  power.

2/18/17

6-foot-2, 165 pounds, thin lengthy frame with plenty of room for future development. A left-handed hitter, stance is slightly shorter, open and sits in a small crouch. Hands start at shoulder height close to the midsection of his body, lower half is under control, takes a minimal stride and uses the backside well. The hands could have more separation from the body during the load, the swing path is level across his chest and he finishes with one hand. The approach is middle of the field to gap to gap. The barrel has life to it out front. The grip is a little wrapped needs to loosen up, which will help him maneuver the barrel even more. Defensively at first base, hands are soft, feet work well, throws from a little lower slot, shows good touch and the arm was clocked at 70 mph across the diamond. Strength is a must, but the actions and movements are fluid, has upside to him.
